The main location for our alternative fashion shoot, the fantastically beautiful Taman Festival in Bali, offered an abandoned dreamscape, steeped in tropical decay and spiritual echoes. Once a large amusement park that became a forgotten relic, the Taman Valley is now a surreal ruin, overgrown by the jungle and embraced by nature. The post-apocalyptic energy of the place, coupled with sacred silence, became the ideal setting for the presentation of Avanyah’s alternative clothing collections combine edgy rave wear, punky festival outfits, psychedelic clothing and visionary art.

With its broken statues, crumbling temples and graffiti-covered ruins, the location reflected the duality of chaos and beauty – a duality that Avanyah’s designs epitomise. Shooting amidst these ancient yet modern remnants enhanced the rebellious elegance and raw freedom captured in each garment.
